2010年シンガーソングライターとしての活動を開始。ギターの弾き語りを活動の軸とする。2010年12月を皮切りに、様々なメンバー編成のバンドでワンマンライブを開催。ストリングスやパーカッションを迎え、横浜「Motion Blue」渋谷「JZ Brat」目黒「Blues Alley」などの会場で幾多のワンマンライブを成功させてきた。独創的な楽曲、躍動感のあるリズム、それに乗る日本語歌詞が魅力。
2020年ドラマー定成クンゴと結成した「SuzKen & the Kungo Bongos」ではFunk Bandのヴォーカルとして活動を開始。
2022年には独自の新たな表現を模索すべく「SuzKen / ALT Step」をスタートさせ、ライブを重ねている。2024年には新曲アナログ7インチをリリース予定。
2023年、バンド初期の衝動を求めて「RUGGED PEEL」を結成し、ベースボーカルを担当。作詞作曲も担当する。
また「SKA SKA CLUB (再結成)」「Afro Begue」などでベーシストとしてのキャリアもある。
SuzKen, in 2010 started activities as a singer-songwriter. The axis of activity is playing the guitar. Starting in December 2010, a one-man live will be held with various member bands. With strings and percussion, he has succeeded in 12 one-man live performances at venues such as Yokohama "Motion Blue", Shibuya "JZ Brat" and Meguro "Blues Alley". Original songs, lively rhythms, and Japanese lyrics that ride on them are attractive.
In 2020, he started working as a vocalist for Funk Band in "SuzKen & the Kungo Bongos", which was formed with drummer Kungo Sadanari.
In 2022, he started "SuzKen / ALT Step" to explore new and unique expressions, and has been performing live.
In 2023, pursuing the impulse of the early days of the band, he formed "RUGGED PEEL" and was in charge of bass vocals.
He is also in charge of songwriting.He also has a career as a bassist with "SKA SKA CLUB (reunion)" and "Afro Begue".
